Approximately 3500 years ago (the exact date and place has been forgotten even by Kerr) a child was born, however he never knew his parents having been raised by the family that found him in the wilderness . Never the less they raised him as their own first born and he became a hunter for the clan and married though his adopted parents were a trifle distressed that he had no children. One day when he was in his mid to late 20's he was out hunting on a nearby mountain when the edge of the track he was on gave way and he fell 200 feet into a valley. He came too some hours later wondering at how he had survived only to be driven from his camp upon his return as his hunting partner had seen him plunge and knew no man could survive. He then started his wanderings until some 20 years later he felt a twisting in his gut when another man confronted him and challenged him to a duel. In those 20 years he had not aged and through necessity had become a warrior. He faced his challenger bewildered as to why he had challenged him. The fight ended when his sword cut the man's head from his body, it was then that he faced his first quickening as the life energy of his opponent pored into him giving him a little of the other Immortal's power and experience. Another 2 years he encountered Marko who was also an Immortal and explained to him exactly what he was and the rules governing their kind. For the next 5 years Marko trained Kerr to make use of his power and to play the Great Game. Eventually they parted and Kerr once again wandered the world alone. He now sort out other Immortals and fought them to gain more and more power, eventually he underwent a Dark Quickening and all the evil of those he had slain overwhelmed him. For the next 200 years he undertook a reign of terror across central Greece, it was during this period he was given the name Kerr or Death. It took another 500 years before Kerr managed to overcome the Dark Quickening and reverted to his old personality. After this he was overcome with guilt and retreated to Holy Ground where he waited for a 100 years before once more setting out into the world, it was then he became aware of the Watchers a secret organization that observed and recorded the Histories of the Immortals. He immediately understood how this information could be used against him, so he stole what record the Watchers had relating to him and proceeded to go underground in an attempt to escape their detection. He was somewhat successful in that only those watching the Immortals he fought ever saw him until eventually he was almost as big a legend among them as Methos and the Four Horsemen. Now he continues his wanderings fighting other Immortals when he must and helping mortals when he can.
